Paul Ruth is a club-level driver racing in a national amateur and semi-professional multiclass series. He competes primarily in SCCA Majors, where he drives a tube-frame silhouette GT car in the GT2 class, and has made occasional starts in SVRA, SCCA Runoffs and Trans-Am TA Sprint. His rating of 904 places him among developing drivers; he has completed four seasons on record since 2023.[1]
Across 28 starts in SCCA Majors, Ruth has taken one podium. He has raced against club-level regulars including Rene Molina and semi-professional Bronze-graded driver Michael Quattlebaum, typically finishing behind both. In 2025, Ruth stepped into SVRA for two starts and won a race in the Group 10 12 class, taking two podiums from that limited entry. He made a single start at SCCA Runoffs in 2024 and entered Trans-Am TA Sprint in 2026, where the season remains in progress with one round competed so far.[2]
Ruth has finished ahead of entry-level professional Don Yount twice and semi-professional Quattlebaum twice; both drivers have significantly more experience than his own. His record shows results primarily among competitors at the club and semi-professional end of the fields he enters, with the SVRA win representing his strongest single result to date.
