Shane Lovely is a developing driver racing in NASA, a national multiclass series where single-seater, sports car and production machinery share the grid across fifteen classes. He drives a Honda for the Honda Civic DX team and has been active in NASA since 2008.[1]
Lovely has raced twenty-four starts across seventeen seasons, taking two wins and eleven podiums. His record has been built almost entirely in NASA's Honda Challenge classes, where he competes against a mix of amateur and semi-professional drivers. He finished ahead of Jonathan Baker, a competitive amateur with forty-five NASA starts and three FIA GT Championship entries, twice; he has typically finished ahead of Rob Oxford, another developing driver, in their regular meetings, and runs closely matched with Karl Kondor, also developing and also a regular NASA competitor.[2]
