🏳️ Thomas Bolz

Thomas Bolz is a club-level driver who raced in national German endurance championships between 2013 and 2019. He competed in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a multiclass series where amateur and professional drivers share cars across multiple classes; Bolz drove primarily in the Cup 4 class, which uses Toyota GT86 cup cars, and in the V5 and V6 classes of near-standard production machinery. His primary team was Dörr Motorsport.[1]

Across seven seasons Bolz made 23 starts and scored four podiums in the series. He finished 16th in the championship standings in 2019, his final recorded season. The bulk of his racing came in the Cup 4 class against established competition; he regularly faced Arne Hoffmeister, the two-time Cup 4 champion in 2014 and 2015 and an entry-level professional, and Fabian Wrabetz, a competitive amateur and fellow Cup 4 champion. Bolz typically finished behind both drivers in head-to-head competition. He scored victories over established professional Alessio Picariello, who has since raced across multiple top European series, and over professional Kevin Mirocha, a former Formula 3 Euro Series starter.[2]
