Alcyr Araujo is a competitive amateur racing solo in American club and national championships, most often in the TGRNA GR Cup North America Am class for BSI Racing, driving a Toyota GR86 cup car. He carries an FIA Bronze grading, placing him below the Silver and professional grades in sportscar and endurance categorisation. He also races a BMW E46 in NASA's Spec E46 class and has taken a podium in the World Racing League for Open Throttle Racing.[1]
Across three seasons from 2024 to 2026, Araujo has made thirteen starts and taken one podium. His heaviest program is the GR Cup with BSI Racing, supplemented by occasional outings in NASA, SCCA Regionals and, in a shared BMW 3 Series entered by Open Throttle Racing, the multiclass ChampCar Endurance Series.
