🇧🇷 Alcyr Araujo

Alcyr Araujo is a competitive amateur racer competing across national solo and shared-car championships in the United States. He holds a Bronze FIA grading for endurance racing. His primary team is BSI Racing, where he drives a Toyota GR86 in the TGRNA GR Cup North America series; he also races a BMW 3 series in the World Racing League and has made appearances in NASA's Spec E46 class and ChampCar's multiclass endurance grid.[1]

Across three seasons from 2024 to 2026, Araujo has made eleven starts with one podium finish. The podium came in the World Racing League in 2026, a multiclass endurance series where he competes in production-based machinery. His main racing has been with BSI Racing in the TGRNA GR Cup, a single-class championship of Toyota GR86 cup cars, where he has accumulated five starts against a mix of amateur and semi-professional competitors. He has also raced the national multiclass championships NASA and SCCA Regionals, which field fourteen and fifteen classes respectively across amateur and professional drivers.[2]

In the TGRNA field Araujo is closely matched with competitive amateur Patrick Brunson and regularly finishes behind professional Spike Kohlbecker, who has raced forty-nine TGRNA starts and eighteen US F4 rounds. He has beaten 2025 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup champion Jeremy Fletcher once and professional Will Robusto once in their meetings.
