Alex Berg is a semi-professional racing driver competing in single-seater and production-based championships across North America and Britain. He races in British F4 for Fortec Motorsports, a team with established credentials in junior single-seaters; he also competes in GB4, USF Juniors and Ligier JS F4 Series. His record spans six seasons from 2021 to the present, with 105 starts across multiple series.[1]
Berg has won twice in British F4 from 27 starts since 2024 and taken a win in GB4 this season from 11 starts. In US F4 he scored a win and eight podiums from 26 starts over 2022 and 2023 for Doran Motorsports Group. His early career included success in NASA's multiclass endurance racing, where he won twice in the Spec Miata class and took the 2021 SCCA Regionals title; he also drove for Mazda Motorsports' NASA team when they won the 2021 Spec MX-5 championship. He finished 25th in the 2021 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup championship from two rounds raced.[2]
In single-seater racing Berg typically finishes behind established professionals; he runs consistently in the mid-pack of British F4 against drivers including Reza Seewooruthun and Martin Molnar, both of whom have progressed to higher single-seater categories. He has occasionally finished ahead of stronger competitors; he beat Connor Zilisch, a 2025 NASCAR Xfinity champion with experience across multiple national series, in one meeting, and has one result over Ernesto Rivera, an established professional with Formula 3 experience.
