Alex Keyes is an entry-level professional racing in a national single-class open-wheel championship. He drove for World Speed Motorsports in the Pro Mazda Championship, a series that fields amateur, semi-professional and graded professionals in the same races.[1]
Keyes contested two rounds of the 2014 Pro Mazda Championship season and finished 14th in the final standings. He raced against established professionals including Spencer Pigot, a 2015 Indy NXT champion who went on to compete in IndyCar, and Jack Aitken, a Platinum-graded driver who won the 2015 Formula Renault Eurocup and later took the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech GTP title. Keyes finished ahead of both drivers once across his two starts.[2]
