Andreas Riedl was a competitive amateur endurance racing driver in multiclass championships on the German racing circuit. He competed primarily in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie between 2013 and 2014, driving modified production-based and near-standard production cars for RCM/HRT Performance Porsche. Later appearances came in the international 24H Series in 2019 and 2020, racing a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup for TM-Racing.org, and a single start at the 2019 Nürburgring 24 Hours for rent2Drive-FAMILIA-racing.[1]
Across his indexed career Riedl took three podiums from fifteen starts in endurance racing with shared-driver cars. His record in the Langstrecken-Serie, his primary series, consisted of twelve starts over two seasons yielding two podiums. He finished ahead of both Andreas Weishaupt, a Bronze-graded professional with 28 starts in that championship, and Andreas Gülden, a multiple-time Langstrecken-Serie champion and Bronze-graded professional with sixty-nine starts across the series. Against Alex Autumn, a competitive amateur regular in both the Langstrecken-Serie and the 24H Series, Riedl was closely matched across multiple meetings.[2]
