Andrew Fernandez is a club-level driver who raced briefly in 2003. His rating of 953 places him at the developing end of amateur motorsport, a level that reflects minimal racing history and modest results against established competition. Fernandez made just two starts in NASA competition that season, finishing in the points once for a podium result.[1]
The single season on record saw Fernandez compete against a mixed field that included drivers of varying experience. He posted a best finishing position of eighth on average across his two races, which included one top-three finish. Among his results were outings against drivers who would go on to establish themselves at higher levels, most notably James Sofronas, who would later earn a Bronze grade and win championships in international GT endurance racing. A brief racing record of this type, concentrated in a single year two decades ago, offers little scope to assess consistent capability or trajectory. Fernandez has not raced since 2003.
