Andy Lund competed in American Endurance Racing in 2016, completing two race starts with no wins or podium finishes. His best result was a 51st-place finish. His average finishing position across classified starts was 4.5, reflecting inconsistent results in a brief racing career.[1]
Lund's limited record included isolated results against more experienced drivers. He finished ahead of Robert Grace, a four-time NASA Spec E30 champion; Michael Hurczyn, an FIA Silver graded driver and American Endurance Racing class champion; Jon McAvoy, a five-time NASA Spec3 champion; and James Counterman, a two-time American Endurance Racing class champion. These instances occurred only once or twice and do not establish a competitive pattern. Lund's rating of 1,055 places him in the developing category; this reflects a driver at the entry level of competitive motorsport with too few races to demonstrate consistent capability.
Lund is retired from racing and has not competed since 2016.
