Augie Lerch is an American kart racer from Tucson, Arizona, who competed in the SKUSA SuperNationals between 2010 and 2015. His record across six seasons comprises seven starts, one podium finish, and no wins. His average finishing position of P18 reflects consistent mid-field participation in a series that draws amateur and early-career drivers, though it also hosts occasional entries from more experienced competitors.[1]

Lerch's competitive head-to-head record against regular rivals shows a mixed picture. Against Christian Schureman, a driver of comparable rating, Lerch finished ahead once but behind three times across their four shared races. Against Jason Faint, another rival in the same competitive band, Lerch never finished ahead in three meetings. His most notable results came in isolated races where he defeated stronger drivers: he outfinished Oliver Askew, a FIA Silver–graded former champion and significantly higher-rated driver; Nick Boulle, another Silver-graded champion; Milan Dontje, a Silver-graded professional; and Ricky Capo, also Silver-graded. These were individual instances rather than patterns of sustained competitiveness at that level.[2]

Lerch's last recorded entry was the 2015 SKUSA SuperNationals, after which he retired from active racing. His career sits squarely in amateur motorsport, marked by participation in kart racing at a competitive but pre-professional level.
