Christian Schureman is a semi-professional kart racer competing in SKUSA SuperNationals, a multiclass national championship in which amateur and semi-professional drivers share the track with graded professionals. He races the KZ2 class and the S1 Pro Stock Moto and S2 Semi-Pro Stock Moto classes; his most recent activity is in 2016.[1]
Over eight seasons from 2009 to 2016, Schureman contested ten starts in SKUSA SuperNationals and took one podium finish. He was closely matched with Augie Lerch, a fellow semi-professional and regular competitor in the series, but typically finished behind AJ Myers, an entry-level professional who carried 16 starts across the championship.[2]
Schureman's podium included a finish ahead of Oliver Askew, who went on to become an established professional and 2019 Indy NXT champion with subsequent IndyCar racing, and Jack Hawksworth, a professional Gold-graded driver and champion of both the 2012 Star Mazda Championship and 2023 IMSA WeatherTech GTDPRO.
