Ventricelli was a semi-professional racing driver who spent his career in Argentine national stock car championships. He raced for Ford across TC Pista, Turismo Carretera and TC Pick Up between 2010 and 2022, accumulating 131 starts and winning the 2012 TC Pista championship.[1]
His record centred on TC Pista, where he made 68 starts and took three wins and ten podiums over eight seasons. He won the 2012 title with Ford, the peak of his career. In Turismo Carretera he started 47 times across seven years with limited results; his most recent indexed activity was two rounds in 2020, finishing 21st in the championship standings. He also raced TC Pick Up, a mixed-amateur field where he took one win and two podiums from 16 starts between 2019 and 2022.[2]
Ventricelli raced regularly against semi-professional and entry-level professional drivers in fields that mixed amateurs with graded professionals. He was closely matched with Federico Pérez, a 2018 TC Pista champion, and Nicolás Bonelli, who won the 2011 TC Pista title. His most notable scalps came against established professionals racing in Argentina; he finished ahead of Esteban Guerrieri, an Indy NXT champion and two-time FIA World Touring Car Cup winner, twice, and José María López, a three-time World Touring Car Championship champion, once.
