Garbarino is a semi-professional racing formula cars in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series, a national multiclass championship. He competes for multiple classes on the same grid and races solo. His current Racer Rating of 2,682 places him among competitive amateurs; he is establishing himself in single-seater racing after several years at this level.[1]
His record spans four seasons from 2021 onward. In 2024, competing in SCCA Regionals F4 class, he took three wins from four starts and finished on the podium in all four races, winning the SCCA Regionals championship. He has since moved to the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series, where he has taken two wins and eleven podiums from sixteen starts so far in 2025. His earlier appearances came in SKUSA SuperNationals in 2021 and 2022, where he competed in junior karting classes.[2]
In the Lucas Oil grid, Garbarino regularly races against Cam Becker, who won the 2025 championship; he typically finishes behind Becker. He is closely matched with Bex Cranston, a regular opponent with substantial junior single-seater experience. He has on occasion finished ahead of entry-level professionals with considerably wider racing résumés, including Nicolas Stati, an FIA Silver driver who has raced Indy NXT and Formula Regional, and Daniel Quimby, the 2024 US F4 champion.
