🇺🇸 Amilio DiLauro

DiLauro is a competitive amateur; his Racer Rating of 2,920 places him at the front of club racing and entry-level professional fields, competing against drivers with genuine competition licences in fields that do not meet the strongest national or international standards. Through two seasons from 2025 to 2026, he has raced 14 times across three series, with an average finishing position of P10.3 and a single podium to his name, achieved in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series in 2025.[1]

His record against established opposition shows mixed results. Against semi-professional drivers such as Parker DeLong and Jeremy Fletcher (a 1-time champion), DiLauro has won individual races but trails both in their head-to-head records. More telling is his consistent performance against weaker fields; he has beaten Massimo Sunseri, who rates at 2,179, in six of eight shared races. DiLauro has finished ahead of stronger drivers in single instances, including FIA Silver-graded champions Jared Thomas and Gresham Wagner, and professional-level driver Spike Kohlbecker, but these remain isolated results rather than patterns of dominance. His work with BSI Racing, which fielded him in eight of his 14 starts across the TGRNA GR Cup and Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup in 2026, represents the backbone of his recent activity, though his finishes in those programmes have trailed further back; he ended the Mazda season in P24.

DiLauro remains active as of 2026 and appears to be building experience in junior open-wheel and one-make racing. His trajectory suggests a driver progressing through entry-level professional competition rather than breaking through to the sharper end of semi-professional fields where he would need to establish more consistent results against stronger rivals.
