Christopher Wakefield is an active amateur driver competing in single-seater and kart racing at the national level. Across six starts in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series and SKUSA SuperNationals between 2023 and 2025, Wakefield holds a Racer Rating of 2,255, which places him in the lower half of the active driver population; his average finishing position stands at P8.3. He has recorded one podium finish, achieved in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series in 2025, but has not won a race.[1]
Wakefield's competitive record against his regular rivals is mixed. He has maintained an even head-to-head record with Valentino Garbarino, winning two encounters and losing two, while he has prevailed more often against Brian Garcia, finishing ahead in three of four shared races. However, he has struggled against stronger opposition; he has not finished ahead of either Cam Becker, a one-time champion, or Bex Cranston in three races against each. Wakefield has also recorded isolated results against notably stronger drivers, finishing ahead of Patricio Gonzalez, Ty Fisher, Casey Moyer, and Jensen Burnett once each, though these do not represent established patterns against those competitors. His career trajectory remains early, with activity concentrated in 2024 and 2025.
