Austin Hill is a competitive amateur racing in national single-class and multiclass open-wheel championships run by the SCCA in the United States. His primary series are SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals, where he races Formula Atlantic and Mazda MX-5 machinery across multiple classes; he has also competed in Formula Regional Americas, the SCCA Runoffs, and Trans-Am. He is currently active in Trans-Am, where he finished sixth in the championship standings after one round in 2025.[1]

Across six seasons from 2021 to 2026, Hill has taken 6 wins and 20 podiums from 52 starts. His most productive record comes in SCCA Majors, where he has scored 3 wins and 12 podiums in 29 starts; he has also won 3 times in SCCA Regionals from 8 starts, adding 3 podiums at the Runoffs from 7 starts. His single podium finish in Trans-Am came in 2023.[2]

In the fields where he competes regularly, Hill typically finishes ahead of club-level drivers such as Adrian Comstock and behind semi-professional regulars like Nico Bratz. He has outfinished professional drivers including Cole Kleck twice and Westin Workman, a three-time champion across multiple series, once.
