Austin DeMent is a club-level competitor with a Racer Rating of 2,016, placing him in the developing to early club racing band. This rating reflects a driver racing against established amateurs and early-stage competitors rather than professionals. His recorded career spans two seasons between 2009 and 2011, with two starts in the SKUSA SuperNationals, the premier national karting championship in North America. He did not score podium finishes in either appearance.[1]

Despite the limited sample size, DeMent's record includes isolated results against drivers who would go on to compete at much higher levels. He finished ahead of Lance Stroll, who became a Formula 1 driver and is rated at elite professional standard; Santino Ferrucci and David Beckmann, both Gold-graded professionals in sportscar racing; and Matthew Graham, a professional-level competitor. These were single-race occurrences rather than sustained head-to-head competition, and they reflect the nature of large-field national championships where drivers of varying experience levels compete together. DeMent's average finishing position across his classified starts was fifth, and he retired from racing in 2011.
