Austin Edwards is a developing-level driver who raced in NASA's Spec Miata class, a single-driver national multiclass championship mixing amateurs through graded professionals. He competed for two seasons from 2019 to 2020, with 13 starts across six rounds in his final year, finishing 80th in the championship standings.[1]

Edwards typically finished behind the regulars he met most often. He raced alongside Hannah Grisham, a professional and FIA Silver-graded driver who has won the 2026 World Racing League GTO National and GTO East championships and holds 65 NASA starts; Edwards finished behind Grisham consistently but beat her once. He also regularly competed with Ryan Pond, a competitive amateur with 68 NASA starts, and usually finished behind him as well. Edwards beat entry-level professional Christopher Allen, an FIA Bronze-graded driver with 77 NASA starts, on five occasions.[2]
