Brad Waite is a developing amateur racer who competed for fourteen seasons in national multiclass club racing championships in the United States. He drove Porsches in PCA Club Racing, primarily in its F, GTA2 and GTB3 classes, and competed in NASA's GTS2, GTS4 and GTS5 classes, racing German machinery for a field mixing amateurs and semi-professionals. His primary team was SMRT Motorsport.[1]
Over his racing life from 2005 to 2018, Waite took four wins and 33 podiums across 74 starts. He was most active in NASA, where he started 56 times and won four races, and contested PCA Club Racing regularly across thirteen seasons before a final appearance in 2018 that saw him finish 13th in the championship standings.[2]
Waite raced most often against semi-professional operator Mike Ward across both series; the two were closely matched, with Waite regularly finishing ahead of him across their meetings. Against club-level driver Scott Good, also a NASA regular, Waite typically finished lower in the order. He secured a podium ahead of entry-level professional Tanner Rumburg, who had run IMSA Pilot Challenge competition.
