Brandon Adkins is a competitive amateur racer with a Racer Rating of 2,425, placing him at the front of club racing and regional competition. His record spans four seasons from 2006 to 2009, competed entirely in the SKUSA SuperNationals karting series, where he made four starts without securing a win or podium finish. His average finishing position across classified races was 24th, a result of competition against drivers ranging from semi-professional to professional level.[1]

In head-to-head competition, Adkins showed mixed results against the drivers he most frequently encountered. He finished ahead of Andy Lee, a FIA Silver graded professional, on one occasion, and beat Joel Miller, a FIA Gold graded driver and 2024 Lamborghini Super Trofeo NA ProAm champion, once as well. However, his record against John Zartarian proved consistently difficult, with Adkins finishing behind him in all three shared races. He also recorded isolated victories over Buddy Rice, an FIA Gold professional, and Brody Goble, a FIA Bronze driver, though these came as single instances within broader head-to-head matchups where he more often finished lower down the order.

Adkins retired from active competition after 2009 and has since become known for his work promoting inclusivity in motorsports, particularly within the karting community in Ohio.
