Brandon Vivian is a club-level driver competing in national amateur and semi-professional multiclass sprint racing in the United States. He races near-stock economy hatchbacks in the B-Spec class across SCCA Majors, SCCA Regionals, and SCCA Runoffs, where up to 25 classes share the track in a single race.[1]
Vivian has taken eight wins and fourteen podiums across eighteen starts since 2020. His record splits evenly between SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals, where he has won four races in each series and finished on the podium in all but two starts combined. He has also made two Runoffs appearances, taking one podium in 2021.[2]
In the regular national field, Vivian typically finishes ahead of fellow club driver Frank Schwartz, who has considerably more experience with 57 SCCA Regionals starts, and ahead of competitive amateur Matt Wolfe, the 2023 SCCA Majors B-Spec champion. He has also beaten Richard Hromin, a semi-professional who won the 2022 SCCA Regionals SSM championship.
