🏳️ Carolyn Bayer-Broring

Carolyn Bayer-Broring is a developing driver racing in SCCA Regionals, a national multiclass sprint series run across 25 classes in the United States. She competes solo in the HP class, which runs heavily modified production sports cars, and has been active since 2022.[1]

Bayer-Broring has made 25 starts in SCCA Regionals from 2023 to 2026, taking 12 podiums. She also made two starts in American Endurance Racing, a multiclass endurance championship where production-based cars in her Class 1 are shared among multiple drivers. In her current 2026 SCCA Regionals campaign, she has taken one podium from two rounds raced so far and sits 14th in the championship standings, with more rounds still to come.[2]

She typically finishes behind the regular opponents she races most often, including club-level drivers Chuck Allard and Michael MacQueen, both of whom have considerably more starts in SCCA Regionals. She has beaten Chris Rawlings, the 2025 American Endurance Racing Class 1 champion, once in endurance racing, and has a single result ahead of Shawn Dewey, a semi-professional with extensive endurance racing experience.
