Chad Cox is a semi-professional competing in national multiclass endurance racing. He races in the World Racing League for CTSR, piloting a GT4-class car in the GTO class, and has spent the bulk of his career in PCA Club Racing, a national solo sprint series that mixes amateur and professional drivers across sixteen classes. Cox's home series is PCA Club Racing's Porsche field, where he competed for nine seasons from 2012 to 2020 and accumulated twenty wins from sixty-one starts.[1]
Cox finished ahead of established professionals in PCA Club Racing; he beat Matt Travis, a FIA Bronze-graded driver with significant experience in GT4 America and IMSA Pilot Challenge, twice, and took a result over Alex Sedgwick, an entry-level professional who raced Porsche Carrera Cup North America and GT World Challenge America. Among his regular competitors in PCA Club Racing were Adam Jaspers and Steven Wright, both club-level drivers whom Cox typically outpaced. His record in that series placed him in the upper tier of a field that ranged from amateurs to graded professionals. Cox joined the World Racing League this season with CTSR and has raced twice so far in the GTO class, currently sitting thirty-fifth in the championship standings.[2]
