Chris Burton competed in club-level racing, his sole record showing two starts in NASA competition during 2006. His rating of 1,033 places him among developing drivers; his brief tenure and limited starts mean the available evidence is insufficient to establish a clear competitive pattern. He finished fifth on average across his classified races, with a single podium finish from two outings.[1]

Burton's competitive record against stronger drivers is minimal. He beat Michael Mosty once, a driver who would go on to win four NASA CMC championships; he also defeated Scott Smith once, who later became 2023 NASA Super Touring 4 champion. These isolated results against drivers who proved considerably stronger elsewhere do not establish a meaningful head-to-head record. His two victories over steve mulder, a competitor at a similar level, provide the most consistent competitive evidence from his brief racing tenure.[2]
