Christoph Blümer races in multiclass endurance championships at the Nürburgring, splitting his drives between the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport in the Cup 3 class and turbocharged production cars in VT2 machinery for SRS Team Sorg Rennsport. He competes as a semi-professional, finishing eight starts across the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and the Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2025 and 2026 with two podium finishes to date.[1]

Blümer sits comfortably in a competitive amateur band on the Elo scale at 2,062. His record pairs regular appearances against semi-professional and entry-level professional opposition; he typically finishes behind Marius Rauer, a semi-professional Silver-graded driver with 34 starts in the Langstrecken-Serie, but runs closely matched with Daniel Zils, an entry-level professional Bronze-graded driver who has won the Langstrecken-Serie VT2 Hecka class three times and started over 130 races in that series alone. In two separate encounters Blümer has finished ahead of much stronger opposition: he beat professional Yasser Shahin, who carries 23 WEC starts and eight Asian Le Mans starts, once, and beaten professional Bruno Spengler, who has raced in the DTM, Formula 3 Euro Series and IMSA WeatherTech, once.[2]
