Colin Jevens was a developing-level driver racing in NASA, a national amateur and semi-professional multiclass championship in the United States. He drove an American pony car in the CMC class, competing in a field that mixed amateur club drivers, semi-professionals and graded professionals across fifteen classes in each race.[1]
Jevens raced two seasons in NASA, from 2008 to 2009, with 14 starts and 9 podiums. He finished twelfth in the 2009 championship standings in his final season, taking three podiums from the five rounds he contested that year.[2]
Among regular opponents, he ran closely matched with Jim Pastorius, another developing driver, while generally finishing behind Mike Morris. He took podiums ahead of Brian Cates, a competitive amateur with substantial experience in NASA and SCCA regional and national racing, and beat club-level driver Kent Lydic multiple times.
