Matt Deming raced in a competitive amateur endurance series and club-level solo racing across thirteen seasons. He ran American Endurance Racing from 2016 to 2021, driving production-based cars in its Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 fields, and NASA club racing from 2008 to 2016 in American pony cars and German sports cars. His endurance racing career was the primary focus, accumulating forty starts across the multiclass field shared by amateurs and professionals.[1]

Over his time in American Endurance Racing, Deming took seven wins and nineteen podiums from forty starts, putting him among the series' regular front-runners in the production classes. He was closely matched against James Counterman and Cody Ace, both competitive amateur champions in the Class 2 and Class 3 fields; the three drivers raced each other repeatedly and finished at comparable levels. His NASA record spanned sixteen starts across the pony car and sports car classes between 2008 and 2016, culminating in a thirty-ninth-place finish in the 2016 season standings.[2]

His results included victories over drivers racing at professional levels, among them Aaron Jeansonne, an FIA Silver driver who has contested Mazda MX-5 Cup and Porsche Carrera Cup, and Misha Goikhberg, an FIA Bronze professional with experience in IMSA WeatherTech and Trans-Am. Deming's strength lay in the multiclass endurance format, where he was a regular winner in the amateur and semi-professional production car classes.
