David Roth is a developing driver racing in SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals, a pair of national multiclass championships where 25 classes of solo single-driver cars share each race. He drives the one-design Spec Racer Ford SRF3 class in both series. Across three seasons from 2024 to 2026, he has made 34 starts and taken three podiums.[1]
Through 2025 and into the current 2026 season, Roth has finished behind his most frequent rivals, the club-level Jim Tibor Jr and competitive amateur Michael C Cameron, both of whom have substantially more starts in the same series. His three podium finishes came in SCCA Regionals, and he has not finished on the podium in SCCA Majors. He currently sits 41st in the 2026 SCCA Regionals standings with three podiums from four rounds raced so far.[2]
In head-to-head racing, Roth has beaten the entry-level professional Caleb Shrader, who won the 2025 SCCA Runoffs SRF3 championship, and the semi-professional FIA Silver driver Josh Smith once each. The field in both SCCA championships spans from amateur entrants to graded professionals, placing Roth among drivers developing their pace in competitive company.
