🏳️ Didier Glorieux

Didier Glorieux is a competitive amateur driver with a Racer Rating of 1,975, placing him at the front of club racing; a real competition licence holder and a real result in fields that do not meet professional calibre. His career comprises six starts in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie across 2022 and 2023, all for BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR. He scored no wins or podium finishes and averaged a P10 result across his classified starts.[1]

Glorieux raced consistently against established professionals graded at the Bronze and Silver level by the FIA. His most frequent rivals were Christopher Rink, a four-time champion of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie V4 class; Heiko Eichenberg, a multiple-time series title holder; and Horst Baumann, a Bronze-graded driver. Across these shared races, Glorieux was outpaced by nearly all of them; he finished ahead of Eichenberg in none of their six meetings, and fell behind Rink and Baumann in five of six encounters each. He did record scattered results against stronger drivers, beating the Silver-graded Daniele di Amato once and holding off Rink and Baumann once apiece, but these isolate victories against much more experienced professionals do not constitute a pattern of competitive parity. His average P10 finish masked the reality that he regularly ran toward the back of the field; his most recent season in 2023 ended with a P33 classification.

Glorieux is now retired from racing. His record shows a club-level driver who competed in an endurance series but could not sustain competitiveness against the semi-professional and professional drivers fielded there.
