He typically finished behind regular opponent TJ Larsen, who had significantly more experience in the series with 92 starts. Against Darren Fenz, a fellow developing-level driver with 64 PCA starts, Scovanner was closely matched and beat him four times over their head-to-head meetings. He also finished ahead of Mark White, a club-level driver with extensive PCA and SCCA experience, once in their racing together.[2]
