Ethan Billions competed in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series in 2017, the only season of racing on his record. He started fourteen times and scored one victory and two podium finishes, placing tenth overall in the championship. His average finish across those races was sixth position, indicating consistent mid-field performance.[1]

Billions raced in a field anchored by Justin Brunner, who won the 2017 Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series Championship, and Aaron Jeansonne, an FIA Silver graded driver rated as a professional. Billions finished ahead of both drivers on two occasions each, though he trailed them in the majority of their head-to-head meetings; Jeansonne finished ahead of him eleven times from thirteen shared races, and Brunner did likewise in thirteen encounters. He was more competitive against other mid-field runners such as Dalton Peak and Pat Daly, trading results evenly across multiple races.
