Francis Florido is a developing amateur racer competing in national club-level motorsport. He races Porsches in the PCA Club Racing championship, a multiclass series mixing amateur and semi-professional competitors across 16 classes on each race weekend, and has recently made his debut in SVRA, another national multiclass series.[1]
Florido has completed 22 seasons of PCA Club Racing since 2005, accumulating 188 starts across the 911CUP, E and F classes. He has taken five wins and 21 podiums in that time. His 2025 campaign saw him contest two SVRA rounds, finishing 67th in the championship standings. He typically finishes behind Angus Rogers, a 2023 PCA Club Racing GTB1 champion and semi-professional racer with significant experience in endurance series, and ahead of Russel Martorana, a fellow club-level competitor with 72 PCA Club Racing starts.[2]
Florido has occasionally outpaced entry-level professionals on the grid; he has beaten Dave Simpson, who raced NASCAR Xfinity, once, and Andrew Thompson, who has seven PCA Club Racing starts, twice.
