Jacob Spirer is a club-level driver who competed in NASA racing during 2013 and 2014. His racer rating of 1,019 places him in the developing category, a level encompassing club racing with limited competitive results. Across seven starts in NASA competition, Spirer recorded one win and one additional podium finish, with an average finishing position of ninth.[1]

Throughout his brief career, Spirer raced primarily against semi-professional and club-level competitors. His most frequent rivals included Adam Molaver, a 2012 NASA Spec Miata champion; Glenn Evans and Ken Wilkinson, both established club drivers; and several competitors at the lower end of the competitive range. Against this field, Spirer finished ahead of Molaver once in seven shared races but trailed him six times; he beat Glenn Evans twice but finished behind him five times. Notably, Spirer recorded single victories over significantly stronger drivers including Marc Cefalo, a multi-time SCCA Majors T4 champion rated as a professional, and John Watson, another professional-level competitor. He also finished ahead of Lukas Pank, a 2024 International GT GT4.0 champion, on two occasions.

Spirer's racing activity ended after 2014, when his final two NASA rounds produced no podium finishes and resulted in a 257th-place finish. The driver has since retired from competition.
