Jason McCarthy is an entry-level professional racing in international multiclass endurance and sportscar championships. A Bronze-graded driver, he competes primarily in Ferrari Challenge, where he drives a Ferrari 488 or 296 Challenge in the P class for Wide World Ferrari. He has also made starts in GT America's SRO3 class, racing GT3 machinery, and earlier raced PCA Club Racing's Porsche classes at the national amateur level.[1]

McCarthy's record spans seven seasons from 2017 onwards, with 43 starts across three series. His primary base is Ferrari Challenge, where he has completed 34 starts since 2022, taking two wins and 15 podiums. He has beaten established professional Jeremy Clarke seven times and the 2023 Ferrari Challenge P champion and 2024 Le Mans Cup GT3 champion Matt Kurzejewski on eight occasions. In PCA Club Racing, his sole indexed appearance came in 2018, when he finished seventh in the championship standings with one podium from six rounds. He made his first GT America starts in 2026, recording one podium from two entries in the SRO3 class.[2]

McCarthy's standing in Ferrari Challenge is mid-field against a regularly graded field. He runs closely with established competitors including Perrina and Kurzejewski, both Bronze professionals with substantial international racing records.
