Logan Cusson is an entry-level professional who raced single-seaters in Formula Regional Americas, a national championship mixing amateur and professional drivers. He completed three seasons in the series from 2019 to 2021, driving for teams competing against a field that included drivers who went on to race in Indy NXT and IndyCar.[1]
Cusson took three podiums across 50 starts, finishing sixth in the championship standings in his final season of 2021, when he scored two of those podiums. His results came against a regular field that included Jordan Missig, an entry-level professional and FIA Silver driver, and Joshua Car; Cusson was closely matched with Missig but usually finished behind Car. Among the stronger drivers he faced, Cusson finished ahead of David Malukas, now an elite professional with 79 IndyCar starts, once; he beat Kyffin Simpson, who won the 2021 Formula Regional Americas championship, seven times across their meetings.[2]
