Joseph Rubbo is an entry-level professional competing in Ferrari Challenge, a multiclass international sprint championship. Racing for Ferrari of Long Island, he drove the P class Ferrari 488 and 296 Challenge cars across three seasons from 2022 to 2024.[1]
Rubbo made 15 starts in Ferrari Challenge, taking one win and five podiums. He finished 25th in the 2024 championship standings in what proved to be his final season of racing.[2]
His racing placed him in a field mixing amateurs with graded professionals. He finished ahead of established professional Jeremy Clarke on five occasions and split results with 2023 Ferrari Challenge champion Matt Kurzejewski, who has also raced ARCA and the Le Mans Cup; more regularly, he finished behind entry-level professional Jason McCarthy, with whom he shared most of his Ferrari Challenge campaign.
