Jenson Sofronas is a semi-professional competing in single-class national sprint racing in the United States. His primary series is the TGRNA GR Cup North America, where he races a Toyota GR86 cup car for Copeland Motorsports in the Am class; he has also made four starts in the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America GT3 Cup in a 992 P/A class car for GMG Racing.[1]
Sofronas has raced for three seasons across 24 starts. In the TGRNA GR Cup he has spent most of his racing time competing against entry-level professionals including regular opponents Spike Kohlbecker and Will Robusto, typically finishing behind them. He has twice beaten Kohlbecker and three times finished ahead of Jeremy Fletcher, a professional who won the 2025 Wheln Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin. In the 2026 season, now underway with four rounds raced so far, Sofronas sits twelfth in the TGRNA GR Cup championship standings.[2]
