Jerome Welte is a club-level racing driver whose 780 rating places him in the developing band; this represents consistent participation in regional club racing with competitive results against peers but without wins at the level of competition he enters. Across 27 starts in PCA Club Racing and SCCA Regionals between 2004 and 2026, Welte has recorded two podiums and an average finishing position of P9.9. His racing has been concentrated in PCA Club Racing, where he has made 22 starts over more than two decades; a 2024 move into SCCA Regionals produced five starts without classification success.[1]

Welte's head-to-head record against his most frequent rivals shows mixed results typical of a mid-field competitor in his field. Against Hunter Allen, a competitive amateur rated 2,407, Welte holds a 3–6 record across nine shared races. He finished behind Lee Lasberg, champion of the 2016 PCA Club Racing F category, in six of their seven meetings, and behind Livio Galanti, the 2022 PCA Club Racing SPB champion, in five of six races; both are substantially stronger drivers and the records reflect this. Welte has beaten occasional top-tier opposition in single races; he has one result ahead of Adam George, rated 2,882 and a 2024 American Endurance Racing Class 2 champion, but has not established a pattern against drivers of that calibre. His most recent activity places him outside the competitive range of current SCCA Regionals fields.
