🏳️ Jim Hamblin

Jim Hamblin is a club-level racer, with a rating of 1,228 placing him in the developing to early club racing band. His competitive record is sparse; across ten years from 2004 to 2014, he started only nine races, all in PCA Club Racing. He won three of those races and finished on the podium in seven, giving him an average finishing position of first place among classified starts. However, this exceptional average reflects a very small sample of nine races rather than sustained performance against a deep field.[1]

Hamblin's head-to-head record shows mixed strength. He finished ahead of Scott James, a semi-professional driver with a rating of 2,469, in all three shared races between them, and beat Colin Mazzola three times as well. He also defeated Claudio Kaempf, a three-time PCA Club Racing champion, on one occasion. Against Charles Boyer, however, he finished behind in all three races. His most recent activity came in 2014, when he competed in two rounds of PCA Club Racing and finished 21st, ending his career in that year. The small number of starts and the length of time since his last race make it difficult to assess his capabilities against contemporary fields.
