Jonathan Gonzalez was a club-level driver who raced in American Endurance Racing, a multiclass endurance championship in which production-based cars shared the track with prototypes and other categories across a mixed field of amateur and professional competitors. His sole indexed season came in 2016, when he competed in Class 2 machinery.[1]
Gonzalez made one start in American Endurance Racing in 2016 and finished 35th in the season standings. During that appearance he finished ahead of Michael Hurczyn, who would go on to win the 2016 American Endurance Racing Class 2 championship, and Robert Grace, a semi-professional with over 200 NASCAR national series starts.[2]
