Jonathan May is a competitive amateur, rated 2,524; that places him at the front of club racing and entry-level professional competition, the sort of quick, often self-funded driver who races against professionals rather than among them consistently. His career record spans a single season in 2013, with one start at the SKUSA SuperNationals. He did not finish on the podium but competed in a field that included drivers rated significantly higher, among them James Allen, a Gold-graded sportscar professional rated 5,102, along with semi-professional competitors Joao Vieira and Remo Ruscitti. May finished ahead of all three in that single outing, a result that stands as his only classified appearance before his retirement from the sport.[1]
