🏳️ Mark Gaynor

Mark Gaynor is a club-level endurance racing driver competing in shared-car multiclass series. He raced primarily in American Endurance Racing from 2019 to 2023, where he drove production-based cars across the Class 3, Class 4 and Class 5 categories, and also competed in NASA's single-driver GTS4 class between 2015 and 2018.[1]

Over eight seasons, Gaynor took one win and thirteen podiums from twenty-four starts. His breakthrough came in 2023, when he won the American Endurance Racing Class 5 championship. In NASA, where he made nine starts across four seasons, he collected three podiums and finished sixth in the championship standings in his final year of competition in 2018.[2]

Against the drivers he raced most frequently, Gaynor typically finished behind Jack Haberman, the 2023 American Endurance Racing Class 5 champion, while regularly beating developing driver Michael Gershanok. He also took victories over Preston Brown, an entry-level professional with forty-five starts in IMSA Pilot Challenge and thirty-one in American Endurance Racing, and once finished ahead of Steven Thomas, a professional Bronze-graded driver who has raced extensively in IMSA WeatherTech.
