Massimo Natili was an Italian driver who competed in Formula 1 during the 1961 season. He started two World Championship Grands Prix for Cooper-Maserati, debuting on 15 July 1961, without scoring points or finishing in the top six on either occasion. His final result was an eighteenth-place finish.[1]
Natili's career in the major single-seater formula was brief and remained at the periphery of the grid. The Cooper-Maserati team itself operated at a modest competitive level; across its history in the database, it accumulated two race wins and fielded a broad roster of drivers, the strongest of whom was Richie Ginther, a front-running professional of the era. Natili's Racer Rating of 3,324 places him in the lower tier of drivers who competed in established series; he remains the only documented racing record for this driver.[2]
