Michael Guerity is an entry-level professional stock car racing driver who competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for Rick Ware Racing, a single-class national championship run at amateur through professional level in the United States.[1]
Guerity's indexed career comprises two starts in NASCAR Xfinity in 2012, from which he finished 35th in the championship standings. In those two races he finished ahead of professional drivers Blake Koch and Matt DiBenedetto, each with substantially more experience in the series; DiBenedetto went on to race 128 rounds of Xfinity and 155 in the NASCAR Cup Series. Rick Ware Racing, the team fielding Guerity, is a large operation that has competed across multiple series without indexed race wins and has developed drivers across a broad range of professional levels.[2]
