Payton Westcott is a competitive amateur driver with a Racer Rating of 2,691, placing him in the club and regional racing band; this level describes drivers racing at the front of club fields or at the entry end of professional racing. His career record spans two starts in the 2025 F1 Academy season, a single-seater series, fielded by Hitech TGR. Westcott has not yet scored a podium finish and finished P17 in his most recent round, but his average finishing position of P6 across his limited starts reflects early competitive pace.[1]
In his first season of racing on record, Westcott has shown the ability to beat drivers of measurably higher rating. He has finished ahead of Emma Felbermayr (a semi-professional driver rated 3,343), Courtney Crone (a Silver-graded semi-professional rated 3,137), Rafaela Ferreira (2,700), and Joanne Ciconte (2,393) in individual races. These results against established drivers suggest genuine competitive promise at this early stage, though the limited sample of two races prevents drawing broader conclusions about his rate of development or competitive standing relative to the field.
