Porter Aiken is a club-level racer with a Racer Rating of 2,036, placing him in the competitive amateur band; this describes a driver who races at the front of club fields and entry-level pro-am racing. His career spanned four seasons from 2020 to 2024 across eight starts, predominantly in SCCA Majors competition where he won three races and finished on the podium five times. His average finishing position of P3.8 reflects consistent competitiveness in his limited schedule.[1]
Aiken's most significant results came in SCCA Majors, where he demonstrated a strong head-to-head record against established rivals. He finished ahead of Joe Colasacco, the 2021 and 2022 SCCA Majors Formula Ford champion, in all three races they shared. He also beat Paul Schneider, another professional-level driver, in three consecutive meetings. Against Jason Conzo, the 2023 SCCA Majors FE2 champion, Aiken finished ahead once but behind him twice, showing a mixed record against stronger opposition. Beyond his regular field, he scored single victories over several drivers rated above him, including Caleb Shrader (a 2022 SCCA Majors SRF3 champion) and Nathanial Sparks (the 2016 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup ND1 champion), though these represent isolated results rather than sustained patterns.
Aiken's participation in the SCCA Runoffs in 2022 and 2024 brought no points, and a single start in American Endurance Racing in 2020 yielded no result. His most recent outing came at the 2024 SCCA Runoffs. The driver is now retired from racing.
