Derek Richesin competed in PCA Club Racing, a national multiclass sprint series run in the United States where amateur and professional drivers share the track across sixteen classes. He raced in the E class, campaigning Porsches, over four seasons between 2004 and 2007. At club level, he was a competitive amateur racer.[1]
Richesin made 15 starts across his PCA Club Racing career and recorded two wins and ten podiums. His best season came in 2007, when he took one win and four podiums across five rounds to finish ninth in the season standings. His results placed him consistently ahead of regular opponents Bob Klaskin and Jimmy T Martin, who each raced far more frequently in the series, and he defeated experienced club-level competitors including Mitch D Richard, whom he beat twice, and Michael Piera.[2]
