🏳️ Gene Raymondi

Gene Raymondi is a developing amateur racer who spent 15 seasons in club racing, competing primarily in PCA Club Racing from 2006 to 2019 in Porsche-based classes. He also made occasional appearances in the multiclass endurance series American Endurance Racing and in NASA's national club championships, racing solo in the single-seater-format series and sharing cars in endurance events with co-drivers.[1]

Across his career Raymondi made 149 starts and took 25 podiums. His primary activity was PCA Club Racing, where he recorded 137 starts and 23 podiums over 14 seasons, finishing 9th in the championship standings in 2019. His involvement in endurance racing was limited to seven American Endurance Racing starts across a decade, yielding one podium, and a five-start stint in NASA during 2010 and 2011 that produced one podium. He won no championships.[2]

In the fields he regularly encountered, Raymondi finished behind competitive amateur Evan Close with some consistency but ran closely matched against fellow developing driver Frank Osborn across their shared entries in PCA and endurance racing. He finished ahead of entry-level professionals on two occasions against Michael Hurczyn, a 2016 American Endurance Racing Class 2 champion, and once against Dave Cox.
