Randy Suddreth is a developing-level driver who raced in NASA, a national multiclass championship mixing amateur and professional competitors across 15 classes in a single race format. He competed primarily in the Thunder Roadster class, a single-seater category built around tube-frame roadsters powered by motorcycle engines, and occasionally in the series' Super Unlimited class. Suddreth drove for INEX Thunder Roadster for the majority of his indexed career, starting in 2007.[1]
Over 13 seasons through 2019, Suddreth took eight wins and 38 podiums from 62 starts in NASA competition. He finished seventh in the championship standings in his most recent activity, a two-round effort in 2019. His record reflects consistent mid-field performance in a field that ranged from club-level amateurs to graded professionals sharing the same track. Against his regular opponents, he was closely matched with Darrel Hamilton, another developing driver with 86 NASA starts, and typically finished ahead of Kevin Mewborn, a fellow developing competitor with 82 starts in the series. Among stronger opposition, Suddreth beat Jordan Anderson, a professional who went on to race in NASCAR Truck and Xfinity, on five occasions across their 20 meetings in NASA.[2]
