🇺🇸 Reid Johnson

Reid Johnson is a developing amateur racer who competes in SCCA national and regional multiclass racing across the United States. He drives a one-design Spec Racer Ford in the SRF3 class and has raced since 2020, with his primary activity in SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals.[1]

Over seven seasons Johnson has accumulated 35 starts in SCCA Majors and 28 in SCCA Regionals, where he has taken one win and six podiums. His most consistent competition has been against Craig Wheatley, a fellow developing driver in the same class, with whom he has raced closely across both series. He typically finishes behind Tim Preble, a competitive amateur with 74 SCCA Regionals starts and 38 in SCCA Majors. Johnson has also beaten drivers of higher standing; he finished ahead of Jim Cox, an entry-level professional and FIA Bronze-graded driver, and Morgan Burkhard, a Silver-graded entry-level professional, on single occasions.[2]
